I enjoy listening to podcasts. There are times where I listen to an episode that stands out in one way or another.
Today, I was listening to Good Question, Montreal. They released an episode earlier on today called "Why is the South Shore actually to the east?". As you may have guessed, it's specifically about geography and why an area is referred to something different than their actual direction.
Not wanting to give it all away, the short answer is the river.
The long answer? Listen to the episode to find out! It's fairly short. It is a little under 19 minutes.
